Getting a little bit done one thread at a time is getting the job done. Last night I started the next process of sewing the flowers onto the backround four patches. These will in turn have eight half square tris added on as corners and there is no sashing.

WOW! (I have yet to even thing about working on the backgrounds.) I am just "Ping-ing" along.
Are you doing the buttons for the centers? (I am going to do Yo-Yo's.)
