The votes were unanimous for the lighter colored center when I auditioned it from the computer. However it looks kind of drab in real life so I am tempted to choose another, The picture has three pieces cut from the brighter fabric and one from the drab one. can you guess which one I like? it is on the bottom left. My designer dh says, "It draws the eye to the center."
I think if I add some color to the border it will work well.

have you considered doing broderie perse and making it fit the space perfectly??? those fabrics would lend themselves well to that technique.

Hmmm, I must agree that the bottom right is the most eye catching to me too!
Love the bottom right one too, but they are all so nice.
