Maybe you can help. I have narrowed my choices down to two possibilities....thnks for the website-Dakota essense:)
My father told me that his grandmother, Minnie, used to make quilts. They were not art, he assured me, just made up of snippets of old clothes , so as not to waste fabric and used to keep warm. He remembers one, he says, all in grays and blacks and plaids. Not art, he says, not meant to be beautiful. Sounds like beauty to me. Maybe even art...

Love the cat nap & the lighter print.
Oooh -- that catnap picture is fantastic!! How cozy you all look!
I prefer the first print -- it would be a lovely centre for that quilt, imo.
I like the first one best.
I would love to make this quilt too
its just beautiful, where did you buy all your florals from for it?

I absolutly ♥ the lighter one too.
:o)
I love the first one best, but both are so pretty.
What a clever way to audition the fabric with your labtop! Glad you may have found something! I think that #1 would probably be my choice; BUT, I do love the blues in #2 'cuz they would tie in the blues in your current blocks. My concern with #2 is that it is so densely packed and has the bigger dark leaves that it may feel too heavy. Looking forward to seeing what you decide.
Wow, great work with the laptop! the second one is more my colors. But: the first fabric goes wonderfully well with the fabrics you have. Espeically the one with pink roses - the pinks accent each other. Just my opinion.
