I thought that adding piping to my RR would break up the red and define the center but I am afraid that it cuts into the flying geese! What to do what to do!! I really like the faux piping! What to do!

I like it but you are right it does cut into the geese. That is a hard choice. I would have to ponder on it for awhile.
I like the effect, but the look did not come out to good with the snipped off flying geese. Maybe you could use a narrow border - 1/4" or 1/2" here instead ?
