Sheep with sweaters?

  1. That is to help keep them clean before they go into the show ring. They are bathed in woolite - yes they are! after shearing & before showing - for the meat varieties - Suffolk being the ones in this photo - are grown primarily for meat.

Tiny glimpse into what I did during high school, huh?

  2. I take that back - the one without a sweater is a Suffolk, the other two may be Hampshire or a cross breed.(I can only see the bottom of the photo as I comment.) All of which are grwon for meat. (The ones that are grown for wool - are not shorn prior to showing - for obvious reasons.)

No I could not eat lamb after showing them...
